A survey has been launched by the St. John’s Status of Women Council in partnership with the University of Western Ontario to study the impact of domestic violence on workers and workplaces in this province.
The survey is completely anonymous, and participation is voluntary—all workers in the province over the age of 15 are invited to participate.
Executive Director of the St. John’s Status of Women Council Jenny Wright says domestic violence costs the Canadian economy a staggering $7.4-billion annually. She says by completing the DV at Work survey, you can help create workplace practices to help support victims of domestic violence and their co-workers.
The survey is available on the Women’s Centre’s website, at this link.
